Being the person i am, i could not pronounce my V's properly and they always sounded like W's for some odd reason. Volleyball would sound like Wollyball. This one time I was lecturing my staff about how we should have v(W)olunteer list for all events that we do, after an hour and half of yelling at them for not getting the lists in the past. One of them pipes up and says "So you want Wolunteer Lists from the Wolunteers and ensure that the Wolunteers dont leave before they clean up". That when I realized that I was pronouncing my V's wrong again.

To add on to that the next day I was walking to the main secetary and asked her if she needed a Hot Vegi Samosa, and she heard it as "Hot Wedgie Samosa" and went, "no thanks my days of getting a hot weges are over after high school".

From that day onwards i have been careful to prounpronounce my V's properly
