Om shanti om - Plot reveled

Plot: The story begins in the 70s where Shah Rukh Khan’s character falls in love with a beautiful young girl (played by newcomer Deepika Padukone). However, certain incidents take place, and Shah Rukh Khan is murdered. The plot behind the murder: Danny denzongappa is the uncle of the beautiful actress(Deepika padukone),who is the villian in this movie and secretly craves to marry the young actress and live a lavish life. The only problem in realising his wish isshahrukh (the actress’s lover). So he plans to kill Shahrukh by poisoning the red chillies that Shahrukh is having for dinner. Thus Shahrukh dies and ” intermission” comes.
He is immediately reborn, and as soon as he reaches adulthood, goes in search of the girl that he left behind in the 70s. The only problem is that his love is now in her golden age and there is a huge age difference. He investigates . He goes on to find that she had married her uncle and he died a couple of years after their marriage. The story does not end here. He discovers that the actress had a secret girl child who was born in America and stays there with a caretaker. So he goes in search of that secret girl child in America. He could not believe what he saw there. another Deepika padukone(actually double role in this movie)who is much younger than the original actress. The story now takes a predictable line - he wooes her and gets ready to marry her but what is a story without any dramatic ending. Here comes another villian(it could be the ‘mother’ deepika padukone but it is left to ur imagination). But finally our hero wins the heroine. And the story ends.
Enjoy ()

CHAK DE INDIA

Chak De India directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Aditya Chopra (Yash Raj Films) is about an ex Indian Hockey team captain's comeback as the Coach to the Indian Women's National Hockey team and his strugle to make the team strong and unbeatable.
This movie is all about the strugle of Kabir Khan (SRK) to bring together a bunch of girls who are more interested in following their individual goals rather than playing for the country as one team. How Kabir Khan motivates them to rise above their cultural diversity and personal goals and makes them believe that they can "do it" is the main flavour of the movie.

The star cast is simply amazing and every body has acted really well. Shah rukh Khan has once again proved with this movie that he is certainly the kind of bollywood.
All in all a must watch...

Apne Movie Review

Apne - anil sharma's latest movie brings the three deols together for the first time. Its a film packed with emotional drama and the off screen chemistry between the deols shows well on onscreen too.
Choudhary (Dharmendra) once won an Olympic silver medal in boxing. He was very close to winning a gold medal and becoming World heavy weight champion when he is implicated in a false case of taking drugs and banned from boxing. His dream remains unfulfilled and he retires. Now he expects his elder son Angad (Sunny deol )will fulfill his unrealized dream and bring back his lost fame. But Angad has different expections from life and is not very passionate about boxing like his father.……due to which the relations between baldev and angad are strained. Baldev’s second son Karan(Bobby deol) who is a musician and has recently launched his music album , vows to bring back the lost honor of his father and gives up his music career.

Karan works hard and wins all through .After winning within the nation, he wins all over the world. The final match is with the current world heavy champion. The match goes fine, but Karan is tricked and he ends up paralyzed in a hospital bed. That is when angad steps in and restores the lost honor of his father.

All in all it’s a movie packed with too much of emotion, the story line is week. The role of Shilpa Shetty and Katrina Kaif is almost negligible.

hmm a ok kind of movie , nothing new.

Awarapan Movie Review

Awarapan is another one of Vishesh Films productions.

Mohit Suri , who has made a special place in Bollywood as a director with films like Zeher , Kalyug and Woh Lamhe has now come up with “Awarapan”.

Awarapan is a story of Shivam ( Emraan Hashmi ), the henchman of Mallik ( Ashutosh Rana )who is a gangster based out of Hong Kong. Mallik assigns Shivam a job of keeping an eye on his mistress Reema ( Mrinalini Sharma ), a Pakistani girl who was trafficked and sold to Mallik in the flesh trade. Reema’s only dream is to get out of this life.

The job of keeping an eye on Reema brings back memories of Shivam’s past.

The film now goes into flashback where Shivam, a criminal, meets Aaliya ( Shreya Saran ) and falls in love with her beauty and simplicity. But Aaliya’s father doesn’t agree to their relationship and what follows devastates the life of Shivam.

Back to the present, our hero Shivam lives an aimless life, simply following and carrying out the orders of his master Mallik, at the same time haunted by his past memories.

While keeping an eye on Reema he discovers that she has a lover. With Reema’s secret revealed, Mallik orders shivam to kill Reema. That’s where the twist comes in …. And a loyal employee turns in to a rebel to save Reema.

There is nothing new about the storyline of the movie but what is commendable is the performance delivered by Emraan Haashmi.Awarapan is a serious effort by this actor to come out of his chocolate boy and serial kisser image. Shyera Saran has also done justice to her short role in the movie. But Mrinalini Sharma has overacted in few scenes.

All in all , a worth watching movie!!

Bobby deol plays Karan, a millionaire in the film who has loads of attitude and is no less than a rock star.

Akshaye Khanna plays Vicky Malhotra, a middle-class guy and a struggling actor.
As the film’s story goes, Urvashi is engaged with Karan. But things become complex as Vicky comes in her life.
